Scope of work: provide all labor, equipment, materials needed in performing all work required for renovation of the existing exterior pre-engineered metal building envelope including windows and doors.
Building 1391 Building Exterior Renovation
The project involves a comprehensive upgrade to the building's exterior, focusing on both functional and aesthetic enhancements to improve durability, energy efficiency, and overall appearance.
Metal Roof Gutters and Downspouts:
The installation of new metal roof gutters and downspouts will enhance the building's ability to manage rainwater runoff, reducing potential water damage and protecting the foundation. The chosen materials are durable, low-maintenance, and designed to withstand the elements, ensuring long-term performance.
New Doors and Overhead Doors:
All exterior doors, including overhead doors, will be replaced with new, high-quality units that provide better security, insulation, and ease of operation. These doors will also improve the building's visual appeal, contributing to a modernized and cohesive look.
Front Entry Awning:
A new awning will be installed at the front entry to provide shelter from the elements and create a welcoming entrance for visitors.
Project – Repair Honor Guard Bldg B1391
This awning will be designed to complement the building's overall aesthetic, incorporating materials and colors that blend seamlessly with the other exterior upgrades.
Skylight Removal:
Existing roof skylights will be removed to address issues related to energy inefficiency, potential leaks, and outdated design. The removal will improve the building’s insulation properties and reduce maintenance concerns, while also providing a smoother, more uniform roofline.
Metal Siding Panels:
New metal siding panels will be installed to replace the existing exterior cladding. This upgrade will significantly improve the building’s weather resistance, energy efficiency, and visual appeal. The selected siding will offer a sleek, modern appearance while requiring minimal maintenance.
New Windows:
All existing windows will be replaced with new, energy-efficient models designed to enhance natural light while minimizing heat loss. The new windows will feature modern materials and designs that contribute to the building’s overall aesthetic and performance, creating a more comfortable interior environment.
These improvements are aimed at not only enhancing the building’s functionality and sustainability but also refreshing its exterior appearance to better reflect a contemporary and professional image.
